Children's Music Ministry

At Ankeny First, our desire is to encourage the musical potential God has gifted to each child by developing musical skills including expressive tuneful singing, artful movement, instrument playing for the purpose of participating in individual and corporate worship. Our children's ensembles rehearse weekly during the school year and present the music they learn periodically in various worship services. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots.   • KidZone:

    At KidZone, students ages 4 through 5th grade will have a blast learning more about God's love for them while exploring scripture, engaging in worship, responding through outreach projects, and interacting with other kids and adults! The games and crafts will help reinforce the truths we are learning from the Bible. There will be lots of singing and dancing, and children will be given opportunities to share their music in worship services throughout the year.  Join us Uptown (Room 214) on Wednesday nights 6:00-7:00pm. This program is FREE, and registration is not required. We can't wait to see you at KidZone!
