Ankeny First UMC partners with the Malawi Provisional Annual Conference of the UMC to co-welcome God's kingdom all over the world. Started in 2008, the Malawi Partnership of Hope is a ministry of PRESENCE. We build relationships with pastoral leadership as well as church members to share God's love and support local church initiatives. Some of the projects supported through this partnership include deep water wells, nursery schools, women's empowerment trainings, village loan programs, pastoral and family support, church building projects, and more.
