    Snacks for Ankeny Schools

Our September Mission of the Month is to collect snacks for Ankeny schools so staff can keep them on hand for students. Low-income families will already be struggling with the additional cost of lunches this year, and it is not likely they will be able to send the allowed/optional snacks to school with their children. Therefore, we will be helping stock up on extra snacks for the kids. They have requested chewy granola bars, Craisins, yogurt-covered raisins, Wheat Thins, Goldfish crackers, Cheez-Its, GoGo SqueeZ, dried fruit, or other similar items (please no nuts or peanut butter items.) Place donations in the gray Mission of the Month bins at the CLC or Uptown. Amazon Wish List herehere.

Please give monetarily this month by writing “September Mission of the Month” in your check memo, or give online (
